St. Augustine Beach, Vilano Beach and adjoining beaches have great surfing. Local St. John's County schools sponsor surfing competitions.
Flagler College has a Championship Surfing Team.
No surfing is allowed and no bathing suits are allowed inside the William L. Proctor Library on the Flagler College Campus.
